Welcome to the Day Middle School PTO!   We hope you will get involved and join us in our efforts to enhance the educational and community experience at Day.

How does PTO support our community?

  • Fundraise to enhance our children’s educational experience and to support the principal, teachers and staff through classroom grants and equipment purchases.   Some recent examples include:
    • A new computer lab
    • New weightlifting and aerobic exercise equipment for PE
    • Funding of the Creative Arts and Sciences program
    • New printers and digital cameras
    • Music writing software
    • Library books

  • Facilitate Communication between home and school through:
    • Monthly email newsletter
    • Day Time updates
    • School Directory

  • Sponsor Community Events such as PTO speaker programs, parent coffees, and family gatherings.

Here’s how you can get involved!

  • Join the PTO. Approximately sixty percent of the PTO budget comes from dues. Are target is 100% participation. Join now.... 

  • Volunteer. Sign up for one or more of our committees.

  • Stay Connected. Most of our communication occurs via email. We also publish monthly notices in the Day Time. To receive our email newletter and Principal Gina Healy's "Daylights" newsletter sign-up for email. (click on link in left-hand menu)
