Beautify and Improve

Come
for the whole morning or just an
hour!
Parents
and Kids Welcome**
- Snacks Provided
- One
person experienced in priming and painting is
needed to help coordinate the rest of the
volunteers.
- Painters
needed (kids are not allowed to paint but can
participate in the outdoor
activities).
Build
a closet
- We
need parent volunteers who have worked with
metal stud construction to help build a closet
in the music room.
Rake
leaves
- The
city of Newton
will no longer be raking leaves at Day Middle
School. We
need your help to clear some leaves. Bring
a rake if you can.
Plant
bulbs
- We
will have plenty of bulbs to plant around the
grounds. Bring hand tools for bulb
planting.
Work
in computer lab
- Mount
SmartBoards on walls and clean
computers.
Provide
Refreshments
- Volunteer
to bring doughnuts, water, coffee, fruit or
cookies that
morning.
**
Note - all
children must be supervised by a parent or
other designated adult. There will be no
supervision of children provided by the School
or
PTO.
