So why are we doing this tech fundraiser?

fundraising Over the years the Day PTO has funded essential items for the school - computer software, fitness equipment, routers for tech ed, and more. It was recently brought to our attention that the quantity and quality of the technology currently available at the school is lagging behind the established district standards. So this year, in addition to what we normally fund, we must address this pressing issue.

The Newton School Department has informed PTOs that no new funds for technology will be coming to our schools in the foreseeable future, and that it will now be up to the PTOs to fill that gap. While this is not the ideal scenario, it is up to us, the parents, to support our school and help to provide the best learning environment possible for our kids.

Do you prefer to send in a check? Please do! Make checks payable to Day Middle School PTO. They may be dropped off to the school office or sent to FA Day Middle School PTO, 21 Minot Place, Newtonville, MA 02460.
